The International Conference 'Human Nature and Self Design' (organized by the Postgraduate Programme Bioethics) lies behind us and was a great success. I soon will post links to the video recordings of the lectures in the section 'Projects'. In addition, an anthology with the conference contributions is in preparation. I will soon announce further details on this issue, too.
From September 2009 to February 2010, I will do a research visit at the Department of Philosophy (Harvard University) under supervision of Prof. Dr. Thomas M. Scanlon.
On Invitation of the Propaed e.V., I will hold a talk entitled 'Nachhaltige Entwicklung – Begriffsgeschichte und ethische Implikationen' [Sustainable Development – Conceptual History and Ethical Implications] in Bamberg on November, 19th 2008 (further information in the section 'Presentations' and here).

Michael Jungert, M.A. und me will hold a talk entitled 'Zwischen Humes Gesetz und Sollen-impliziert-Können – Möglichkeiten und Grenzen empirisch-normativer Zusammenarbeit in der Bioethik' [Humes Law and Ought implies Can] at the 31st International Wittgenstein Symposium in Kirchberg/Wechsel (Austria) in August 2008.
